The underperformance of African Americans in comparison to their other demographic is known as the academic achievement gap. This achievement gap is one of the most urgent issues in education, as it presents major questions of equity. At S.M.A.R.T Bus, we believe that all students are deserving of equal opportunity and everyone is capable of academic success.
S.M.A.R.T Bus provides academic resources for underachieved students at a free or reduced cost. S.M.A.R.T stands for Science, Math, Art, Reading, and Technology. We offer services and programs in all five of these areas.
