SMART TRANSITIONS empowers survivors and thier children of domestic violence and sexual assault through intensive therapy, creative expression, and educational programs.
Students are creating a documentary on Jim Crow in NC, interviewing elderly Black community members, and capturing firsthand accounts of this history.
Books by Us is a reading and writing program that develops children age 7-13 into becoming published authors. This program will showcase stories in cultural context, and address SEL. Books are sold from vendors such as Amazon, Target & Barnes and Noble.
Students learn piano and violin, helping them explore their musical talents and develop discipline and creativity through music education.
In two sessions, students will participate in a STEAM-enriched program that includes therapeutic sessions from licensed therapists and counselors.
See Me is a curriculum for preteens and teens, combining film and literature to help youth overcome trauma and raise awareness about issues like sex trafficking.
